Loudoun Lightning (LL) is a travel baseball club dedicated to developing its players through passion and positive reinforcement. We believe in building strong community ties, relationships, and leaders, with a focus on sportsmanship and stewardship. 

Our motto is “Striking Excellence On and Off the Field” and we strive to instill this spirit of leadership in each of our players. We encourage them to set goals, work hard, and lead by example, not only in baseball but also in their everyday lives.

Purpose Driven: The purpose of Loudoun Lightning is to create a fun, stress free, family oriented, and competitive environment for players to continue developing their baseball skills and love for the game. We understand that players and families have commitments outside of baseball throughout the year and we encourage that. LL strives to create an environment of collaboration and inclusion amongst our players and families with a focus on the following:

  Developing strong relationships with peers and families with similar passions and values.

• Focus on positive reinforcement to help the team and players achieve their goals each season.
• Begin player-specific position development based on player skills and feedback.
• Off-field team-building activities for players and families.
• Allow players to experience the game at their own pace – make mistakes and learn from them.
• Develop player leadership skills for baseball and life.
